Dairy Farm

Established in 1871 by Frederick Billings, Billings Farm was envisioned as a model dairy rooted in sustainability, innovation, and responsible land stewardship. Today, the farm continues that legacy with a thriving herd of Jersey cows producing high-quality milk used in their own Billings Farm Cheddar Cheese products, Cabot Cooperative products, Norwich Farm Creamery dairy, and award-winning cheddar crafted with Grafton Village Cheese. We proudly feature Billings Farm Cheddar in our restaurants and culinary events.

Visitors can experience the farm firsthand, watching daily milking demonstrations, making their own butter by hand, and discovering the craftsmanship behind Vermont’s celebrated dairy traditions.
